Obama Lunches with Romney As 'Cliff' Talks Falter
Excerpt:President Obama and Mitt Romney meet face to face today for the first time since the election, breaking bread in the private White House dining room as talks over the looming "fiscal cliff" appeared to be faltering on Capitol Hill. "I think it will be a substantial lunch, if not on the plate then in the discussion," White House press secretary Jay Carney said Wednesday of the encounter between the former archrivals. There was to be no formal agenda for the meeting or a "specific ask" or assignment for Romney, administration officials said. The two men would try to smooth things over after a bruising campaign, away from the glare of cameras and nosy reporters.

Key:
- Aggregate Sentiment is meant to be an indicator of an individual's overall sentiment.
- The Mean is meant to be an indicator of an individual's average comment sentiment.
- The Standard Deviation, when there are enough quotes, will indicate an individual's consistency of sentiment (i.e. a Standard Deviation of 0 would mean they were very consistent in their sentiment and 1 would mean they were very inconsistent).
Note that quote stats are likely to be meaningless beyond the aggregate score due to the tiny sample size. However, they are always provided just in case you find something useful there.
